Dr. Justin Feehan, DDS

Dr. Justin Feehan was born on a US military base in Germany. He has been able to call Virginia home since moving to the US as a child. Dr. Justin attended the University of Virginia where he graduated with a degree in biology. After college he moved to Portland, Maine to attend the University of New England College of Dental Medicine. After helping the people of New England smile, Dr. Justin chose to return to Charlottesville to help those around him achieve their happiest and healthiest smile by working with each individual to provide them the individual care that they need and deserve. He hopes to make each visit to the office an enjoyable one. Dr. Justin's enthusiasm for dentistry doesn't stop in the office. He continues to take continuing education courses so that he can always provide the newest technologies, techniques and treatments for his patients. When Dr. Justin isn't in the office making patients smile you can most likely find him hiking in Shenandoah National Park, fishing from his kayak, waiting for the sunset behind the lens of his camera, or spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Nick Minutella, DDS

Dr. Nick Minutella was born and raised in Wilmington, DE. He left the state to attend the University of Virginia, where he received a BS in Civil Engineering and met his wife Anna. Following college, he moved to Baltimore for the University of Maryland Dental School. After graduation, Dr. Minutella practiced in Baltimore part-time in two different offices, which provided not only experience in dental techniques but, more importantly, the opportunity to see different types of practices, patient groups, and management styles. Because of these experiences, he knew what he was looking for in a dental practice when he and his wife decided to return to Charlottesville in the spring of 2012. Charlottesville Blue Ridge Dental was the perfect fit for a long career in the Central Virginia area. Dr. Minutella is a member of several local and national dental groups and enjoys keeping up-to-date on the latest technologies and treatment methodologies through continuing education. His treatment philosophy is centered around educating patients to empower them to be involved in making the best choices for their own health and life circumstances. In his free time, Dr. Minutella enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and two dogs.

Do you see children?

Yes! Our practice is family-family and can accommodate younger and older patients alike. In fact, our large number of treatment chairs is perfect for block appointments that save parents much-needed time in their busy routines.

What’s the best way to replace missing teeth?

In most cases, our doctors will strongly recommend dental implants. Do you treat dental emergencies?

We definitely do! Our offices always have space for emergency situations on short notice, and we’ll do everything in our power to relieve your pain right away. I’m experiencing a lot of jaw pain. Can you help?

Chronic jaw pain could be a sign of bruxism (teeth grinding) or the more serious TMJ disorder. We recommend that you schedule an appointment in either Charlottesville, VA or Crozet, VA as soon as possible so that our doctors can diagnose your condition and help you discover the ideal therapy option, such as a custom-made oral appliance.

My teeth look really long. Should I be worried?

This symptom is usually a sign of periodontal (gum) disease and/or excessive gum recession.
