Dr. Tucker is first and foremost a father and an advocate for children. His passion for children and their well-being is what led him to a career in pediatric dentistry. To Dr. Tucker, there is nothing sweeter than a beaming smile or laugh from a child and he takes great pride in helping children achieve the confidence that comes from a healthy smile. Dr. Tucker is a big kid at heart and his favorite hobbies include wrestling with his children, building forts in the living room, movie nights cuddled on the couch, and being in nature with his kiddos. His dedication to children has translated into the passionate care and environment he gives to his patients and their parents on a daily basis. Dr. Tucker grew up in a very small community in the mountains and is one of 8 children. Being from a large family, taking care of younger siblings was a part of his everyday life. Being an active member of the community has been a passion of Dr. Tucker’s from a young age. After earning his Eagle Scout, he became a den leader for a local boy scout troop to give back to the scouting organization that guided him through years of learning and growth. Dr. Tucker was a member of 4-H and FFA where he raised animals that were sold at the local county fair in order to support families in the community. He also volunteered every summer at the county fair where he was the lead cook for a charity grill whose proceeds funded local school organizations.

Dr. Scott Folsom is a dedicated dentist with a passion for serving his community both in and out of the dental office. Born and raised in the sunshine state of Florida, he later split his formative years between Florida and Pennsylvania. Dr. Folsom’s journey through education was a testament to his determination, self-financing his studies. Since tying the knot in 1985, he has shared his life with his beloved wife, Barb, and together they’ve raised their daughter Natalie. In 2003, Dr. Folsom planted his roots in North Carolina, where he has been an integral part of the community ever since. When he’s not busy providing top-notch dental care, Dr. Folsom cherishes moments spent with his family, friends, and nurturing his faith. His diverse range of hobbies reflects his adventurous spirit, from fishing and gardening to hiking, biking, and even mastering the guitar. With a heart for service, Dr. Folsom generously volunteers his time at the Winston-Salem food pantry, engages in prison ministry, and actively participates in various community and church events. His commitment to giving back extends beyond his professional and personal life, embodying the values of compassion and empathy. Dr. Folsom’s professional journey has been marked by excellence and service. He has owned and operated two successful dental practices, where he finds joy in treating patients of all ages, from children to adults. His alma mater, Temple University School of Dentistry, holds fond memories as he served as the Class Treasurer/Secretary and the Student American Dental Association Representative during his time there. A proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Folsom continually seeks to enhance his skills and stay abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry. His commitment to lifelong learning and dedication to his patients are evident in every aspect of his practice. Prior to his thriving dental career, Dr. Folsom honorably served his country in the United States Navy, further exemplifying his sense of duty and service to others. Dr. Scott Folsom, alongside his wife Barb and daughter Natalie, resides in Advance, NC, where they continue to enrich the lives of those around them with their kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to community service.
