Jessica S.
My youngest hated the dentist! The staff is super sensitive patient. The explain every step in detail to not only you but your child! This will be the only place I take them!
Ashley S.
My daughter had her first appointment here, switching from a different dentist. This place is fantastic! Everyone is so kind from the receptionist, to the hygienist to the dentist. Had a nice play area in the waiting room, waters and coffee as well. Highly recommend this office.

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?

Frequently Asked Questions

When should my child have their first dental appointment?

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that your child visit the dentist by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth coming in. Early visits help your child get comfortable with the dental office and allow us to monitor healthy development from the start.

How do I know if my baby has a tongue tie, and how is it treated?

A tongue tie (also called ankyloglossia) happens when the tissue under the tongue is too tight or short, making it hard to move the tongue freely. You might notice trouble with nursing, bottle-feeding, or speech. At Happy Teeth, we can evaluate your child and, if needed, discuss safe and simple treatment options like a frenectomy.

What should I do if my child is anxious about going to the dentist?

You're not alone! Many kids feel nervous. We specialize in creating a fun, gentle, and positive environment to help ease dental anxiety. You can prepare your child by reading books about the dentist, role-playing a “check-up” at home, and using positive language like "strong teeth" and "tooth tickling" instead of scary words like "drill."

Are baby teeth really that important if they fall out anyway?

Yes, they are! Baby teeth help your child chew, speak clearly, and hold space for adult teeth. Keeping them healthy prevents pain, infection, and future dental issues. Regular checkups and brushing go a long way in protecting their smile.

What’s the best way to clean my child’s teeth at home, and how much toothpaste should I use?

Start brushing as soon as the first tooth appears! For kids under 3, use a tiny smear of fluoride toothpaste (about the size of a grain of rice). For ages 3 and up, use a pea-sized amount. Brush twice a day and help your child until they're able to brush well on their own—usually around age 6–7.
